CAMPING WITH BELLA #2
- JADHAVWADI DAM, Pune
Hello, folks! Welcome again, first blog gave me a boost to write this second blog immediately without wasting time. Hope you all doing well in this crisis. I will take you to another wonderful camping I have done with Bella (those who don't know Who Bella is - She is a pet dog).

| Bella was ready for another adventurous night. |
This time I have decided to go a bit further just behind my previous camping site (Bhandara Hill) i.e Jadhavwadi Dam which is 13 km from my home. This was sudden planned and I was confused about the place. Finally, on google earth, I decided to go there. Earlier I thought of going on to the hills near the dam. But I could not found a way up there and never been there earlier, so decided to pitch my tent near water. I started late this time around 10 PM from home. Bella was always ready to go out at any time of the day. I am waiting for her to say, No I don't want to come you go.

Camping site: Just beside the water and I was able to park my bike nearby so I cannot worry about my bike.

Map: Distance and route from my home to camping site (Jadhavwadi Dam)
I have been to the dam once two years back during day time. I had no clue where to pitch the tent earlier, I have decided that on the spot. After roaming for 1 hour around a dam in search of the perfect place finally I found a place which was a bit far from the village and from the main road too. I parked my bike and scan the area with a torch, It was a wonderful place for camping as it was an open place with no grasses and bushed. It was actually the place which supposed to be in the water during the rainy season. It was a plane land with sand on it. Finally decided to pitch a tent just beside the water. After pitching the tent decided to scan the area for geckos but could not find any. Bella was also roaming around and sniffing the area.
Long exposure click of a tent, hope you will see bit silhouette of bella.
As this was my second-time solo camping, I was more confident than the previous one. Click some photos on long exposure. As there were villages nearby so could not saw stars due to light pollution. It was not that cold what I thought it could be as the water was nearby. But there were cool wind and the noise of the water was like healing weather. I pitch my tent in such a way that I could see the sunrise from the tent. So with the help of a compass, I pitch my tent face to East. After clicking some shots I decided to go into the tent and sit for awhile. It was wonderful sitting alone under the sky, with wind and noise of water that is the moment when you live your fullest.
The moment when you live fullest
After some time I slept, as it was already 2 AM. Slept well this time and as I was less worried this time. As usual, woke up early and left the tent door open, and lay down. After some time it started to lighten up a bit. I check out the sunrise time in the Sky view App. It was around 6.30. I decided to put my mobile for timelapse, chose to frame the tent along with water and sunrise.
I love this light (Shot on Phone)
After some time, birds started chirping and the sun started rising. It was a mesmerizing moment in my life. I was all alone there, the infinity water body in front of me, beautiful sunrise and wind. It was one of the best sunrises of my life. Able to capture this using camera.

Hill behind, was the place I earlier thought of camping and polls on the road. It was around 100mts from the tent.

This photo was selected by Samsung and they put it on their story.
After clicking photos I sat for a while, a pair of Little Ringed Plover came near the tent. So take photos of them. Bella was roaming way further here and there, running crazily. At 8.30 AM dismantled the tent and headed straight back home. It was the best camping experience ever. Refreshed my mind and return home.
