 RIVERSIDE CAMPING WITH BELLA #3

INDRAYANI RIVER, MAWAL, PUNE

30th October, 2021

At around 9.30 in the night, after having dinner, a thought pop up in my brain was about camping. I was thinking of it for the last couple of days but well was it today that I was not sure of. Suddenly that thought of camping enrooted so much into my brain that I removed my backpack from the cupboard and started recollecting things I would need for camping in my mind. Put camera on charged along with power bank and Mobile. This time I thought of making a complete video of camping. Bella was, as usual, ready and she was looking at me in a curious way ( by this time she must have figured it out that we are going somewhere for sure). I emptied my mobile data into the laptop and make sure that has enough space to shoot the entire vlog, I didn't want to interrupt my timelapse due to seeing the message " You Don't Have Enough Memory in Your Device" which usually happens quite often. I started making list in my mind first and also thought of making a maggie in the morning. 

Did not have time to take some shots during my preparation for camping, as it was already quite late. I thought of a spot I wanted to pitch the tent, the spot I have visited in the month of may just beside the river ( but the situation was something different on the spot- keep reading). It was already 10 pm, and finally somewhat 70% ready physically and 110% ready mentally for camping. You cannot be ready for long solo camping in 30 minutes. Although the spot was known and I have been out there in the night also but staying there for the whole night is quite challenging. The only thing that scared me off is Common Krait and Russel Viper, but as this is night time so Krait the more, and I have seen krait in that area. After all, no dam, wild animal on this planet will harm you by itself, unless and until it feels danger from you, and feeling danger from a human is quit of course. 

10.15 Pm- all set for the game, as it was nearby like a 2km walk from my house I thought of carrying a blanket along with me as it could be more cold than normal because the spot I thought of was just beside the river. Although krait thought was always their back in my mind, I still chose to wear sandals overshoes. Started walking towards with my heavy backpack and Bella, people in my society were staring at me as if my parents must have removed me from home. The main torch I was completed depended on for the whole night trail, was not working properly as I have used it heavily in rain. So, I turn on the flashlight of the mobile and started walking. After 15 minutes of walk, we reached the spot where I thought of going earlier, just beside water but the grass was so big over there, I could hardly walk. So, getting wet due to dew I thought of changing the site on the spot. It was not possible to pitch the tent over there at any cost. There was not an inch of space between those grass and the grass was tall enough up to my height. 

Finally walking for another 15 min, at 11 pm, we have finally arrived at the place I second thought of pitching the tent. This place was quite open and was on a bit height, from which you can see beautiful river basins along. I checked the direction of sunrise in the sky free view app and pitch my tent in that direction. On my way back I found some firewood which was collected by someone. I am really glad to them because it was difficult to find dry wood in that place. Bella was enjoying the roaming around the place and this place was much familiar with Bella. After pitching a tent I sat outside on the stone and enjoyed the sky view full of stars not as much as I was not much away from humans. I got my camera but did not buy the tripod and clicking without a tripod in this place was not possible like at least for taking long-exposure pics of the tent. There was grass all over the place and I was already on the top, so decided not to click photos. After spending more time sitting outside, I slept at 1 am. Set the alarm for 6 am. 

I usually don't get proper sleep outside intent, So at 5 O'clock, I got up and thought of putting woods on fire. It took me 15 minutes to do that. Looking at fire along with dawn twilight in the cold morning alone with the moon is such a bliss. I encourage you all to do that once in life. Sat for 50 minutes straight enjoying the moment all alone while waiting for sunrise. I decided to start cooking maggie after sunrise only. The sunrise time was 6.51 am, around 9.40 am at the horizon the color was started changing from black to blue to orange then to yellow. The sunrise, birds were chirping and I was enjoying the moment. 

The sunrises on time as it was shown in the sky view app (6.51 am). I went down at river banked, washed my face with river water, hopefully, water was much better here as compared to how it is in the city. There were water birds around like egrets, herons, and some ducks. Came back to the tent and I was totally ready to cook the maggie first-time solo camp maggie making.

 I had apples before so I was not much hungry but excited to cook the Maggi. Also wanted to shoot a top-view timelapse of making Maggi, so found a stick and was able to fix my mobile over it and set the frame for timelapse. Enjoyed making maggie on fire. Bella was roaming around, sniffing the area what she usually does all the time when we are stable at one place. I usually do not bring any separate plate or spoon when I am out, I prefer eating in the same utensil in which I cook or leaves and prefer stick to eat with. Finally Maggi was ready after not so 2 minutes but after 15 minutes. 

Enjoyed the hot, soupy, best ever in the world camping maggie along with amazing view and with Bella after clicking some cover page shots Even Bella had some, she knows I cook well. (Do dogs really think about who cooks well and who does not and Judge people based on that, Woah... I don't think animals are judgmental at all. It's all HUMANS) Let it be, loved the maggie, the best ever maggie I had ever with all the other elements. 

I got the watercolor and sketchbook with me. I rarely paint something sometimes whenever I am in a painting mood. Sat on the stone and drew the same view which I was in right now. The river, trees, grass, tend, Bella, Me, camping site. After that, played for some time with Bella and was happy mentally I started my way back to the house physically at around 8.30 am. This time it was not much challenging yet one of the best camps ever. Many more to go........
